Green bricks advantage more.

Block Advantage

Aerated concrete block is an excellent kind of eco-friendly building material. The loose structure has 10 times better thermal insulation performance than normal bricks and six times better than clay bricks. By using aerated concrete block, your room can keep cool in summer while become warmer in winter.
The thermal insulation performance of aerated concrete block can make the wall thickness much thinner, thus the floor area is greatly enhanced. Besides, less building material and construction cost are needed, extra thermal insulation material is saved and building weight can be reduced and the construction productivity becomes higher.
As a kind of excellent fireproof building material, autoclaved aerated concrete block can resist as high as 1200℃ temperature. A fireproof wall made from AAC blocks can resist fire for 4 hours. The tests demonstrate that a 150mm thick AAC wall can endure fire for at least 6 hours. In practice, the wall can keep intact for 120 hours.
Additionally, the AAC block features light weight, high strength and great durability. It can be used for building non-load bearing walls of high buildings and load bearing walls of low buildings. In seismically active areas, autoclaved aerated concrete is also an ideal building material. Using this kind of lightweight building bricks, the building need less loading capacity from the building foundation, so much construction cost can be saved.
As for the raw materials, you can use sand, coal ash, lime, gypsum, aluminum, cement, and so on. As a professional AAC production line manufacturer, we can modify the AAC production line according to different raw materials.
The water content of AAC block is called standard water content when the block is ready for the strength value detecting. However, the standard water content varies from country to country. For example, in the EU, this value should be 6%±2% because the AAC block in the wall contains that much water. In Sweden, the strength value determination is based on air-dried AAC material which contains 10%±2% water.
In practice, using this kind of concrete block for building construction can reduce the workers needed and the wet construction. The construction productivity can also be enhanced.
